Cancellations

Zen Day requires a 48 hour notice for cancelations of scheduled cleaning services. We send out a reminder email 4 days prior to the appointment date to allow ample time to cancel or reschedule if needed. Cancellations requested outside of business hours (9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday) will not be seen until the start of the next business day and may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled cleaning if the next business day is within 48 hours of the appointment.

If the appointment is canceled the same day, the cleaners are locked out of the home, or we are turned away at the door, the full service price will be charged to the card on file.

We can no longer reduce the hours booked without a 48 hour notice.

Please keep in mind that when a client cancels, we have to fill that spot with another cleaning. We deeply appreciate as much notice as possible!!

Illnesses

In the event that someone in the household is sick on the day of the appointment, please contact us right away. WE WILL NOT CLEAN if someone has had the flu in the last 5 days, covid in the last 10 days, or has not been fever free for at least 24 hours. Failure to notify us before 9am the day of the appointment may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled cleaning. As a staff full of moms, we are very understanding that things happen and appreciate any advanced notice possible and may be able to make exceptions to this policy at our discretion.

If we are told upon arrival that there is someone in the household that has been sick, our cleaners are instructed to leave the house immediately and the client WILL be charged 100% of the scheduled cleaning.

This is to protect our staff from getting themselves and their family sick as well as passing illnesses along to our other clients. This policy has protected us from many sick days and prevents us from having to cancel multiple appointments when our staff is sick.

Snow Days

In the event that the Stillwater or surrounding school districts cancel school, we will be allowing our staff to stay home as well due to dangerous driving conditions. Our cleaners regularly have 3-5 houses to drive to per day and can result in a lot of time on slippery roads. In the event that we have to cancel appointments that day, we will notify clients as soon as the decision is made and will reschedule at the client’s earliest convenience.

Privacy

Your personal and private information is important to us! As a small business, we have no interest in selling your information to anyone. Our cleaners are also instructed to be discreet and not share information to other clients without permission.
